Introduction

The National Institute of Technology Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program in NITs and other participating institutions.   • Passed Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

Age Limit:

  • No age limit for the NIMCET.

Nationality:

  • Indian nationals only.

  • Candidates must fulfill any additional eligibility criteria as prescribed by the specific NIT or participating institution.

The NIMCET consists of two sections:

Section I: Mathematics (100 marks)
